फेट के टेक सेंटर की लड़कियो ने हाल ही में नरेला जाकर बाल संगठन संस्था मे फिल्म दिखाई ओर अपनी संस्था के बारे मे भी बताया | हमने बताया और समझाया की किस तरह यह समस्या सामने आई, शुरुआत कहाँ से की, लड़कियो ने इस फिल्म को कैसे बनाया ओर किस तरह सभी लड़कियां अपनी-अपनी ज़िम्मेदारी निभा रही थी जैसे  पिक्चर शूटिंग, रिपोर्ट बनाना, विडियो तैयार करना आदि |

लड़कियां बहुत खुश और उत्सुक थी लेकिन साथ ही थोड़ी डरी हुई भी थी | जैसे ही फिल्म चली, लोगों ने फिर फिल्म पर चर्चा की और उससे सम्बंधित सवाल पूछे | लड़कियो ने कैसे काम किया? क्या ये सब करते हुए लड़कियाँ डरी नहीं? फिल्म की शूटिंग के दौरान लड़के उन्हे किस नज़र से देख रहे थे? लड़कियों के माता-पिता ने कितना सहयोग दिया? फिल्म चलने के दौरान वहाँ खड़े कुछ आदमी  फिल्म में दिलचस्पी लेने लगे मगर जैसे ही लड़कियो के महीने की बात आई वे वहाँ से चलते बने | फिल्म को बाकी लोगो ने बहुत अच्छे से देखा |

फिल्म के ख़तम होने पर लोगों ने फिल्म के बारे मे काफ़ी चीज़ें पूछी | वे फिल्म देखकर काफी खुश और संतुष्ट थे | फिल्म से जुड़े ये सवाल सामने आए:

1. आपने यह फिल्म कहाँ बनाई है ओर यह जगह कहाँ की है?
2. इस फिल्म को अपने कहाँ - कहाँ दिखा रहे है?
3. इस मे जो लड़किया है वह इस फिल्म को लेकर क्या कर रही है?
4. इस फिल्म के द्वारा आपकी परेशानी मे कोई हल निकला?
5. फिल्म को लेकर लोग कितने सहमत है?

इन सभी सवालों का हम सारी लड़कियों ने बहुत उंदा तरीके से जवाब दिया | हमने बताया की कैसे यहाँ की लड़कियों ने खुद हमें बताया है की वहाँ टॉइलेट को लेकर कितनी परेशानी है | यहाँ टॉइलेट को लेकर लड़कियों को कई दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ता है क्योंकि या तो वो खराब हैं या इतने गंदे हैं की उनका उपयोग नही किया जा सकता | उन्हे लगा की यहा बात लोगो को पता चलनी चाहिए | इस फिल्म को बनाने मे लड़कियो ने अपने माता पिता से बात करी | शुरुआत में परेशानियाँ थी लेकिन धीरे धीरे वे भी साथ देने लगे | 

लड़कियों ने बताया की कैसे वो अपने बस्तियों मे जाकर खुद फिल्म दिखती है ओर उन्ही से प्रॉबलम को दूर करने के लिए उनका सुझाव मागती है की इस मुद्दे पर वो और क्या कदम उठा सकती हैं | फिल्म दिखाने के दौरान कुछ ऐसे लड़के भी सामने आए जिन्होने हमारी तकलीफ़ को समझा और हमारी मदद करने में हमसे जुड़ने की ख्वाहिश जताई | हमने आरटीआई के बारे मे भी बताया की किस तरह हमारे सवाल के जवाब मिल सकते है ओर हम अपनी बस्ती मे जाकर बता सकते की कैसे हम इस परेशानी को दूर कर सकते है |

हम इस फिल्म के ऊपर आगे तक काम कर रहे है ताकि हमारी परेशानी थोड़ी कम हो जाए ओर हमे टॉइलेट की सुविधा जल्द ही स्वच रूप से मिल सके |

The girls at the Tech Center who were associated with the making of their film ‘Apna Haq’ recently organized a community screening at Narela. We explained the purpose and motive behind making this film and explained the issues we faced while filming it, how it all began, how the girls got together to work on this project and how we performed each of their responsibilities—from shooting, to report writing to editing—efficiently.

We were both happily excited and a little scared of conducting the film screening on their own. As soon as the film began, people started talking about its content and a lot of questions came up for the girls to answer. How did the girls work? Didn’t they fear doing this all on their own? While shooting, did they receive any comments from the boys? How supportive were their parents? During the screening, some guys took interest in the film but soon left after they saw the movie talking about menstruation and how the toilet issue gets worse during the menses. Others saw the film entirely and took real interest in knowing the story behind its making.

After the screening got over, people had many questions. While they were happy and satisfied, they were curious about the following:

1. Where did you shoot this film? Which area?
2. Where else have you screened this film?
3. What are the girls shown in this movie doing today?
4. To what extent was your problem solved after making this movie?
5. How supportive are people of this film?

We answered all these questions efficiently. We explained how girls from Jal Vihar community themselves came forward with the problem of toilets and the urgency to do something about it. Girls especially face a lot of problems with regard to either the absence or the sheer filth and dirt of existing toilets. They are so bad that they cannot be used on a daily basis. We felt that we needed to tell this to as many people as we could and so we decided to make a movie on this. While we did face problems initially, our parents also turned supportive towards the end of the making.

We told them about our previous experience of having conducted community screenings independently and its great success. We told them how we spoke with the audience on this issue and brainstormed on suggestions and ways of dealing with this problem. During these screenings, we also garnered support from some young boys and men who promised to help us in taking this issue forward. We have also filed an RTI application wanting to know why these toilets are so filthy and not maintained regularly. 

We wish to get answers to our problems and take this forward so that the problem that we face every day in our communities can be reduced and we can soon avail the facility of using a clean toilet.
