We started our Young Women’s Leadership Program in 2010 through the Tech Center in Lajpat Nagar, Delhi. Our model has created young women leaders at the grassroot level, who are aware of the challenges and have confidence in their leadership ability.
To expand, we partner with local grassroots organization to learn from them, adapt our program locally and build our partners capacity to run and sustain the program independently over a few years.
In 2013 we started our first partnership in Vadodara, Gujarat with Sahiyar Stree Sangathan, a local women's rights organization, to learn how our model could be adapted where they work.
In 2016, we have started a centre in Giridih, Jharkhand with Abhivyakti Foundation and
in Palamu, Jharkhand with the Multi Arts Association,
in Pune, Maharashtra working with Krantijyoti and
in Patna, Bihar with IZAD
We have shared our model and given technical support
in Ajmer, Rajasthan, to Mahila Jan Aadhikar Sangsthan, a local women's rights organization.
While we work on the current partnerships, we are also exploring new partnerships in Bihar, Assam and other parts of India.
